Happy Little Pixels Photography | Photographer Spotlight
This week’s spotlight is Shannon Robinson of Happy Little Pixels Photography. Shannon currently lives in Bakersfield, California. She specializes in natural light family portraits, but is currently getting a studio set up and is so excited to grow her in home studio with newborns, sitters, cake smash sessions, ect! Her career in photography began after having her first child. She would practice and practice and eventually people started asking her how much she charged and her career started to blossom. She upgraded her equipment and has been doing it for about 6 years now.
Shannon is passionate about capturing genuine connections between people. She has a love of creating art for people where they are the focus of the piece.
Aside from being an amazing photographer, she also raises 4 beautiful children! A 16 year old daughter named Bianca, 7 year old son Noah, 4 year old son Lincoln and a 5 month old daughter Ceili. When she finds time to relax and have a treat, she looks for anything chocolate and a tasty craft beer.
When looking to spread her photography business, she leaves it to word of mouth by her amazing clients and also Instagram! She takes her photography seriously and would say to those just starting in newborn photography to first know your camera and then know child safety before even attempting a session. This way, things like posing and props can be your focus and the other things just fall into place.
